“You’re Foster? Dr. Foster?” The man in front of you looks distinctively not green. He actually looks sort of purple, if his coat is any indication. He’s not very big. He reaches toward you, holds out his perfectly-normal-sized hand, and you tilt your head, trying to come up with words. “Your wormhole work is unparalleled. We’ve used it a ton.”
“I—thank you.” Glasses. Darcy would call them Harry Potter glasses. He smiles sort of crinkly and you swallow.
“I take it you read my file.”
“I—”
“Dr. Foster!” You turn and have only a few seconds to think before there’s a flash of spiky black hair, and the guy whose picture is on the ‘Famous Graduates’ list on your freshman dorm is shaking your hand. “I see you’ve met Banner. Did he get starstruck? Tell me he got starstruck. We used your blueprints last week. Fascinating stuff. Couple typos, nothing major.”
Tony Stark is short.
